@The Hat I didn't know you did Youtube videos!?!?!
I don’t..

Thats how I started off with a small garden lamp, but then the issue got infectious, I didn’t use someone else’s design, but made one up in my head, which was based on an original 6 metre street lamp in the city..

Making these objects is only part of the challenge, having them last in all weather conditions is another, PLA will most lightly fail in under 5 years, so I started on a new lamp in a different colour with a lot more reinforced solid parts to it..

I’m hoping that the Mark 6 with last at least ten years, and by then its replacement will be someone else’s problem.. I just hope my printers will stay long enough to see the project through..

Question:- Do you know where the 5 Lamps are.. ? ?...

Well, I’ve been thinking of starting to build a new Johnny 5, because like it or not he won’t last indefinitely, I may get another year or so before it crashes, and I want to be in a position where I can replace him very quickly, and for a beast of that size that’s not easily done..

One of my two CR-10’s has not been working properly for some months despite many attempts at fixing her, and whether I like it or not I couldn’t possibility consider printing the new lamp standard with just one printer..

The new Mark 6 will take many months to complete and having a second backup printer on hand is essential, so I decided to get a new Ender 3 as back up until I can get the CR-10 back into action.. Moving on to my new Water Pump..

Just wait till I get to the water pump.

I have just completed another bit of garden furniture but can’t get the Feckin photo electrical cell to work with my 12 volt battery, I made the top of the pump a bit bigger to house a solar panel, so I could have a light shining out of the spout instead of water..

But all in all she looks the part and the birds have started to land on it so it has been excepted and doesn’t scare them.. I’ll endeavour to come up with a fix to get the light working, something always turns up, so I didn’t see that as a good reason not to fix it into position..

It’s not as heavy as the Lamp standard and is in the shade of the tree so it won’t get punished as much by the weather or UV light, and I’m not planning on making a replacement..

All my projects are made with PLA…
