I *always* have trouble refilling the PGi-520Bk in my Canon MP640

It will take 60% ink in and then JUST refuse to take anymore
I've no idea what I'm doing wrong
It starts dripping out both outlets

Any ideas?

Thanks

Omar

Sounds like the sponge needs to be flushed. Ink can thicken on the sponge over time and cause issues with flow. Alternatively, you can get a new cartridge.

agreed, sounds like a saturated cartridge

if you use the german method, could try to use syringe or squeeze bottle to draw ink out of the sponge side

may work for a while

• Printers: Canon MP830, IP4500, MX700, MX860, MX870, MP980
• Method: German Durchstich Method, Lazy Method(refill single set of ink carts)
• Ink: Hobbicolors and OCP
• Misc: Squeeze bottles - so much easier than syringes
