Unexpected update :

All of a sudden, my IP3000 printhead unclogged miraculously. A couple of days ago I printed some text pages containing also small diagrams in color and I was expecting to see weak/banding cyans and yellowish greens, but the images came out fine. So I printed a service nozzle check and the cyan is back to life, Not a single clog !.

For the record, after my failed intents to fix the problem one month ago I was contented to live with banding on cyans and I did nothing more, not even regular cleanings, to improve the situation, so the good news are a real surprise. Live and see.

Touching wood. Perhaps tomorrow other colors will play havoc.

@Artur5, No that can happen when you least expect it, a good while ago my iP4500 looked like it was on its last legs, 3 of the colours were rough and the nozzle check was terrible, so I continued to use it till the carts had emptied, now its printing like new...
