Aficio G7500 gelsprinter (inkjet fast as a laser?)

My friend here ordered this latest gadget Aficio G7500 gelsprinter

It suppose to print better than inkjet and with a speed of laser. Uses special GEL inks, so no refilling I guess

Has anyone heard anything about them? Clogg problems etc. Only site I found http://www.gelsprinter.com/

This Ricoh product line is targeted at business user with a low duty cycle per month (10k) No waste in the ink. No wide format as yet. Will not print on glossy paper and does not support Mac OS. There is no pricing on the consumables. Though "dealers" are shown, I bet it is not a retail product .

Another model supports glossy paper and a higher resolution, but with paper weight limited to 28 lb; the optional feed tray takes up to 255 gm/sq m.
