Hello,
I already posted here and here but I need a quick advice.

To make long story short my ip3000 doesn't print good black ink anymore, cleaning cycles don't help and I think it's a print head electrical problem. I've disassembled the printer and now I've got all the parts laying while the sponges are drying.

Can I remount the printer if the sponges are a little wet?
Can I use a hair dryer on the sponges to quicken the drying? Are there any cons?

You should not assemble your printer with wet sponges. I placed mine on the outside for two days (in the summer) and they dried up completely.

I dried it with the help of newspapers and hair dryer (not too hot), too bad the printer still doesn't print correctly and now it has some little glitches feeding paper due to reassembly.
