action movies

anyone notices how rediculous action movies are? i saw the transporter 2 and thought to myself "when was the last time a gang came after one guy, and didnt kill him?" the stunts they pull are even more rediculous like jumping into the air to avoid two car crashing into eachother, i dont think even NBA players can jump 5 ft in the air...it just bugs me that people think they can do this stuff.

Yeah, I find that I'm pretty darn critical when I watch movies. One of the worst ones was the more recent Charlie's Angels II... A helicopter is falling off of a bridge, they skydive into it, start it up, then fly it away. I guess it isn't so bad if the movie is couched in the fact that everything you see will be ridiculously impossible.

Personally, if it is well written, acted, edited, and directed I can usually be distracted enough that I don't notice the impossible as much, but yeah, it does get kinda silly.
