Hi everyone.
My old korean "QNIX" monitor died so I bought two cheap 27 inch 1440p panels of that South American river site. And when I say cheap I mean cheap. I got them for 159$ Canadian each.
I made sure to chose an office oriented model rather than gaming as the design priorities wouldn't be the same. I didnt expect much more than 100% srgb coverage, maybe even less. My jaw dropped after calibrating both monitors. Calibrating at 110 cdm / 6400k, 2.2 gamma
This seems insane for such a cheap monitor... am I wrong? What would the profile on a purpose built wide gamut monitor look like?
I just hope these monitors will keep chugging along and not die within months for being so cheap.
I didn't mention the model here, I'm not sure it would be allowed. I'm just amazed, not trying to shill goods (edit: sorry, I just realized it shows under the profile name on my screenshots)
