I did my usual nozzle checks today and got vertical lines only in the M, C, Y, and BK dye section.
I have gotten horizontal lines before but never vertical ones so any bright ideas.

I did a couple of head cleans and got a clear nozzle check,
then printed one document with mixed colours which printed fine no problem that I could see.

So curiosity got the better of me and I did another nozzle check and the results are as below.

I am leaning towards an electrical problem with the logic board
because as far as I can see theres nothing wrong with the print head, quite puzzling.. :idunno

Have you gone to the service mode to print a detail extended nozzles check to help you pick up a more detail analysis of the nozzles. If you do, you could try using a high resolution paper to print the extended nozzles check at the service mode. Though using High Resolution paper is not necessary to print nozzle check, but I like to use Canon HR-101 High Resolution Paper if I want/needed a more details nozzles check analysis as it doesn't bleed like normal copier paper.
