521 type Canon Carts - Refill and /or Chip reset for IP3000 ????

Can someone bring me up to speed on the latest postion regarding these carts ?

Can they be easily refilled?

Can the chips be re-set , if so with what re-setter ? , and from where ?

IP3600

In the absence of a chip re-set , is there still a chance to re-fill and forego the Ink Monitor (and warranty) , like with the CLI8`s ?

Has anyone any methods of success to report with the re-use of these carts in an IP3000 ?

(PS I wrongly put ip3000 in heading it should be ip3600 !)

Absolutely correct, sorry , I dont visit as often as I used to and already had half decided that the 521`s appeared to be beyond refilling/resetting, wasn`t sure if things had moved on or not.

This thread also answered my questions regarding the 3600 and helpful guidance towards the 3500 , but I am surprised there has been no progress yet on these new carts , .............but thinking about it the CLI8`s took well over a year to get properly sorted.
