From what I understand, these metal printers are usually hundreds of thousands of $$. Seems this one is "only" $5k:

Interesting, I agree but having looked at their 'prints' on their website there is a lot of post print tidy up to do. They look worse than my original PLA prints (and they were pretty bad). Anyway, don't have a spare kiln so will wait for the next generation. In three years time you'll probably have a multirole printer that even writes your tax returns for you.

Not there yet but give it a few years and the prints will be smooth and good quality.
