Had some issues with my 3880. Basically 3 channels partially blocked. Did the rag with Windex overnight and that helped but still had blocks. Eventually went with the refillable carts and piezoflush. That worked well and now test chart is 100%. All channels show piezoflush on a test print

Question... what is the recommended process to flush all the piezoflush and replace the lines with ink? Is there one command on the panel or via software to get ink back into the system economically or are you just supposed to print test pages until the piezoflush is "run completely" through the system

I think the latter. No matter if you use software to flush it, or just print large blocks of specific ink colors, you'll need to refill those lines so get an extra maintenance tank handy for the line refill process. I'd also keep squirting some solvent to keep the print head's storage pads looking white as the stuff seems to thicken and cause a line clog in the draining pump line that looks like a worm when one pulls it off to clean the pump line over the maintenance tank. Some of the residual crud may stick to the print head when parked.

I also find waiting a day or two for a really nasty clog when soaking the head over a towel helps too. I bought a quart bottle of print head cleaner from some ink outfit in Oregon to use for the towel soak. Don't know what it is though. Maybe some alcohol of some sort. I heated it up to around 120 degrees F and shot it onto the towel via a syringe which may have helped soften it up being warm. Used it on those two parking pads too which are white again telling me its lines are clear to drain too and no gooey crud lies on top of them.

Good luck.

Thank you. I should have been more clear in my post. I have already cleared the block and the lines are still full of Piezo Flush. My question is around how to move the remaining Piezo Flush out of the system so we are just dealing with color. Piezo Flush has a magenta cast and until that is completely out all the colors have that cast.
