HP Color Laserjet 2550L
Okay, so I got a bulk replacement kit with smarchips for each cartridge. Now, when I bought the kit, I installed the smartchips on all cartridges, but I only refilled cyan. A month or so later, magenta toner was reported as empty, so I figured it all I had to do was refill it, seeing as how I had this nifty smartchip already installed. Not so. The indicator lights still show magenta as empty, even though the smartchip is installed and the cartridge has been refilled. Curiously, if I switch the magenta smartchip with another color, then that color is what is reported as empty. This tells me that the chip itself is the culprit. How to I tell these smartchips that I payed good money for to stop screwing around and to tell the printer that everything is full?
