scanner open sensor

Hello, I'm looking for a schematic for the Epson Artisan 837. My main question is whether the Scanner Open Sensor is normally open or normally closed. I know it connect to a relay board before connecting to the main board but not how it's electrically connected. Any help would be greatly...
