Epson Artisan 837 electrical schematic (Scanner Open Sensor)

Hello, I'm looking for a schematic for the Epson Artisan 837. My main question is whether the Scanner Open Sensor is normally open or normally closed. I know it connect to a relay board before connecting to the main board but not how it's electrically connected. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Randy

In case you don't have the service manual already, you find one in this post by @caitsith2 . The link still works, I just checked it. I haven't checked the manual in details but it seems the only info is a block schematic on the last page showing boards and interconnections, but not in detail. After all the service technician should not troubleshoot circuit boards but replace them in case are faulty.
