Has anyone had success refilling the new style carts from AO100? I generally get my carts from PrintPal and the last time they sent me a new style cart. It has a much larger main reservoir and a small one (1/4 inch or so) and sandwiched in between is the sponge and exit port that is just...
Here is my 2cents worth....
Canon MP510
Purchased 10/2006. Refilled from the start. Still have original carts. filled at least 1/2 dozen times.
Works great.
I was considering a CISS for my MP510 and emailed Sam about it. He was quick to reply and very helpful. He sent me instructions specifically for the MP510 as the ones on the web were a bit vague (incl several models).
The only problem I had with the info was that it sounded like he used dye...

Why don't you use the Fillserv clip system? If you have used them before and get along with their products
alright, why change? They have the clip-on deal where you put the chip on a clip then just replace the tank...
Thanks for the update. I had ordered some ink but I did it wrong and got a PGI black and a CLI black so I figured one was dye ink one was pigmented.

I have just aquired a Canon MP510 and would like a little advice.. It has four (4) carts, a PGI-5 (black) and three CLI (M-C-Y).
As I understand it the PGI is pigmented ink. Is this correct? And the CLI is dye ink? Correct?
I wanted to know so I can order the correct ink for filling.
Thanks

The last time I filled the Black #21 cart I could only get 3ml into it. If anyone has a suggestion for a workaround I would sure like to hear it. I am about to operate on a cart and experment with it, see if I can get more capacity. I don't
really care so much about the ink level gauge, it's...
I have #22 and #21 carts in my machine (HP 3930) and this trick (see pebe above) worked just fine for me. I got this prtr because of the small foot print and I like it fine but I wish I had read this forum first. It has such small capacity carts it is almost a joke.
