Hello. I have a CISS on a canon MP280 printer an i have to change the color print head so often.. after about about 80ML of ink used, the print head starts printing with lines an missing words. What you think the problem is or how could i fix this. i have used ink from many different suppliers...

what are some of the advantages to gain from doing this upgrade ? i am some what new to the printing photo business, but i want to use a T50 to print photos with a CISS.. Will this upgrade help ?

How do you get you PG-210 cartridge to last that long.. My customers cartridge goes bad after about 120ML of ink has been used. You need to teach me your methods, it could improve my business alot if you could teach me a method that last for even 250ML of ink use..

What do you mean by ICC profile ? I just want my pic's to stay bright an not fade.. Tell me what i should do..!

So its best i just stick with the dye ink.. but i want a good dye ink that will not clog print head.. any idea ?

So are you guys saying that their is no good pigment ink out their that will not clog the heads ? i found a supplier in china, claim to have very good specified ink.. I am going to give them a try..

I am going to try ink from a next supplier. I have ordered them already. I will see if its the ink thats killing my print heads.. I just cant see how come because the printer uses pigment ink an my CISS is dye.. I will just try some other ink.. What you all think ??

I did try that.. same thing.. I think it is dead.. its only printing with lots of lines..

Which printer is a good pigment ink printer that works well with CISS..?

The print head is dead now.. it is printing with lines an they will not come out.. I have taken the head out an cleaned it many times with warm cleaning fluid an still just print with lines.. printer is down for good now..

Can the epson T50 use pigment ink ?

Thanks. the CISS is a new setup an i dont the the ink that i am using is UV dye ink. I have order some other ink to try an see what happen. i also find that i have to clean the printer head everyday, sometimes twice a day..

So are you saying that the CISS should not be on the same level as the printer.. Should i put it higher ?

Ok. Thanks for that. But i print for customers, i cant tell how they are stored, but i am almost sure that my customers don't store in direct sunlight. I am also finding that i have to clean the printer head everyday or sometimes twice a day, it just print with lines.. I just dont know what to...

but i am using a paper that claims to be UV resistant..

So is it the ink or the paper ?
