Ok..... So you said that your current Eco Tank printer can only handle 4-5 before it "Grinds to a halt"?
Could you elaborate on that?
I am trying to figure out what would cause that.
I think the ET8550 would serve well.
Keith Cooper who has probably done the most extensive series of tests...
As may have been already said, You print head is DEAD!!!! GY and DGY channels are showing electronic failure as you can see only 50% of the band printed on both. That is the source of your Banding problems.
Edit:
NO! When you print a purge your printing it on a disk. The ink goes nowhere else but the disc you are printing the purge on. So no there aren't any waste pads or waste carts.

If you apply GO with a spare printer like an old EPSON 1400 and use QuadTone RIP using a custom curve I can apply a coat of GO that looks completely wet or one that is barely noticeable. The Custom Application QTR Curves control the amount.

You can simply cut out the bar code templates and after cutting the alignment notches, you drop them in the correct orientation facing down into the cart carriage compartment. That way all you have to do is drop the cart in. The bar coded stays put. And by the way they MUST be printed in color...
I have some HP Swellable glossy paper I got for pennies on EBAY quite a while ago and I finally decided to test it on The PRO-100 PC inks. Not a bit of ink puddling as can occur with certain inks. Print had that tell tale "Bas Relief Look" and was a bit tacky but within minutes it was dry to the...
Like others here suggest, in order to prevent this type of mixup, only lay out ONE cart and ONE bottle of ink on your "Refilling Table" and look at them both over and over until your 100% sure you have the correct combination of ink and cart color. Believe me I know TOO well about this.

Your PC and C are switched.
The darker swab is C and lighter one is PC just like on your Magenta swabs.
You will have to flush, dry, and refill your carts with the correct versions.
You could always swap the chips and change their positions on the printer.
But you clearly flipped the colors and...
WOW I think I won't even respond to this. It will cause to much unnecessary traffic.
Though I still can't recall where I was constantly supposedly pushing that I do sell a few things.
I did once and Hat corrected me and deservedly so.
But other than my link to my channel which can be viewed...
Yes I do have continual access to near empty CANON PRO-1 OEM PGI-29 carts that I remove the chips from while preserving the first chip post, I then Mill each one so they can readily accept the fatter Chinese Single-Use chips many of you are very familiar with.
The installation after milling is...
Congratulations! Now that you have gotten your PRO-1 Primed and printing I have to tell you that this also happened to my PRO-1 during the initial install.
Joe ( Jtoolman )
I have lots of PRO-1 related how to and info videos in case you are interested.
Can you move the Print Head Carriage at all? The #1-and #2 Print head locking levers should not be locked up. Where is the print head Carriage positioned now?
Joe
Let me guess! Did you get alternating blinking light Yellow and White?
That is a B-200 Error.
Remove the Print Head and unplug the printer from the wall socket.
Wait about 30 minutes.
Re plug the printer to the wall outlet.
Repeat the installation procedure and hope for the best.
The Hat and...
