thanks "pebe" for your reply, the setting are all on disable so i dont think thats the problem, I can not get any power to the printer at all, i have got 2 more of these printers and if you power off the printer via the power switch settings in maintenance tab, i can still switch the printer...

hi, thanks for your replies, inkjets kept damp, thanks. I can not get power at all from the plug to the printer, also tried on a different pc and still no joy. the printer like i said came on for a short period then switched off again after a couple of minutes, but for last 24 hrs nothing...

oh dear, after an hour printer lost power even though there was no printhead in, therefore the fault cant be the printhead. Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong, regards John

tried power again and it came back on, 30 minutes after taking power lead out, ive took inks out, now and will see if it keeps power.
