Thanks bplaman, I changed the language to English and ran PrintHelp. PrintHelp recognizes the Epson 1400. When I go to disable Epson processes PrintHelp doesn't detect any. It says that “According to your printers status printer is still fully operable”. Waste counters read 29.72% and 17.6%...

I followed the instructions in the video: It did not help. Prinhelp.exe seems to be able to find the Epson 1400 but since I don't speak Ukrainian I have no idea if it is giving me any additional information on the printer.

Thanks; Only the power button blinks. .5 sec on, .5 sec off repeat endlessly while the printer head moves back and forth. I've let it go on for hours before turning it off so this is not just normal charging of inkheads. Occasionally it will stop for about 1 second then resume.

The printer is showing up in device manager but Epson connect Printer setup can't find the printer.
