Fade-resistant bulk ink options for XP15000 (what combination)

Yes, I've read quite some positive stories about Precision Colors, but is not available in the Netherlands. Besides that, OEM inks are stated to be better in terms of fading, so I pulled the trigger and ordered Epson 106 CMYK, Epson 114 Gy and Canon GI-53R. So, thank you for all the relevant...

Fade-resistant bulk ink options for XP15000 (what combination)

Do you have any tips on how to harvest the ink from 106/114 and/or GI-53 cartridges? Drill a hole for a syringe and tape it shut afterwards (but risk of debris from drilling)? Or can one easily open the regular access port of the bottles. Excited to finally take the leap towards less-fading...

Fade-resistant bulk ink options for XP15000 (what combination)

Thank you for the update! That resembles the effects I am encountering when Inktec prints are not behind glass or stored in a box. Great to have an objective measure of the relative performance between OEM now. Currently my mind is set on Epson 106 (or 114) for all colors except red (due to its...

Fade-resistant bulk ink options for XP15000 (what combination)

Thank you so much for your elaborate answer, this really helps a lot! Nice to know that the 106 and 114 perform similarly, despite the different marketing. I will definitely check the new fading test results when they are published. To be honest, I expected properties as minimum/maximum...

Fade-resistant bulk ink options for XP15000 (what combination)

Hi all, about two years ago I started refilling my XP15000 with third-party ink (Inktec from eBay, CMYKRGy). It resulted in severe colour differences compared to OEM, but after profiling (i1pro) it performs excellent. It does not clog or stain, works straight after power up even after 3 months...

    Canon photo tank system printers

That sounds great. With InkTec I was already forced towards using ICC profiling (EyeOne Pro), which works great btw. Do you know how many milliliters are sold (approximately) in a GI-53 bottle? Canon only states the number of sheets. I hope the Canon ink do not clog/dry out more quickly. In any...

    Canon photo tank system printers

Would the GI-53 ink set also work in the Epson XP-15000 as refill ink? I'm currently running InkTec ink and had to color profile it, because the colors were very off. All fine now, but the ink's gamut (especially reds) is way worse than the original ink, just like its fading resistance...
