How to properly store fresh refilled carts?

How do you store your feshly refilled oem carts for a longer period of time? Clips with rubberband and rubbers pins for the refill hole is clear to me. But do you also close the opening of the air channel system, vent, again with some type of tape? Or do you leave it open?

    Windex or pharmacist‘s solution?

Just one more question: Am I right, that when I already have the pharmacist‘s solution and add some ammonia for the cleaning purpose there‘s no need to get Windex or any other glass cleaner? Because it‘s nearly the same?

    Windex or pharmacist‘s solution?

Thank you for all the input. I think it's best to flush at least the yellow cart with Glasscleaner and Pharmacist's solution to be on the safe side. It's good to know that I don't have to clean the other OEMs before refilling when they get low on ink.
