What is causing this printing problem?

Sorry for the delay. I tried cleaning the timing strip -which btw is not very easy with the MG5750 as it doesn't have a wide opening. Doesn't seem to have any effect. So I ordered a new printer instead. I hope this one will last longer. Thank you all for your help.

What is causing this printing problem?

Ah, sorry. Forgot to mention the black oval. As PeterBJ guessed, I added that digitally. I'll try cleaning the timing strip and let you know if that does anything. What is causing this printing problem?

Ouch. That's the second time then that I fried a print head. :( I just checked, and indeed buying a new MG5750 is cheaper than a print head. Sorry planet. The ink and cartridges were supplied by www.smartink.nl under their own brand. It's probably just white label stuff they resell. No idea...

Some text is sharp some is not. I've done the standard cleaning procedure and tried printhead alignment...

Who can tell me what is causing this problem?

Hi all, Thank you for your analysis. @The Hat I've already tried cleaning. No results. You're right that printing text documents in black still works fine. I just looked up the price of a new printhead: €80 :( I guess it's time for a new printer. I'll be more carefull this time with keeping an...

Who can tell me what is causing this problem?

I have owned and used my Canon MG5350 several years now. No complaints whatsoever. I'm using 3rd party cartridges that I refill manually. Sometimes I'm having issues from the fact that the printer won't recognise a cartridge, which I usually fix by replacing the cartridge. Now all of a sudden my...
