    Fading Test Epson 106 107 114 T54C bottled inks

I didn't even notice the new SureLab D500 (and D1000). I'm using the UltraChrome D6-S light inks, because i got banding with (Octopus) diluted inks (every Epson printer: L805, L1300, 1500W and ET-18100). Maybe it is the same ink like T54 (D6r-S), but in bottles instead of cartridges. I can't...

    EcoTank printers using Pigment Inks

It depends on the printed media. Normal copy paper is less water resistant than resin coated paper. I print gummed tape with this printer and during use (packaging) I can't see any blurring ink. And the gummed tape has no special coating.

    EcoTank printers using Pigment Inks

There are EcoTanks using pigmented inks like ET-16650. I have one and in comparison to Epson Pro 4900 the machine is trouble free.

new Epson Ecotank ET-18100 / ET-18050 printing size little bit stretched

It makes no difference to print via Illustrator or Photoshop. Same image with same settings sended to 1500W, L1800 and ET-16650 have correct output. I tried normal paper, inkjet paper, photo paper without or with borderless (no overprinting), prints are everytime a little bit to long. It look...

new Epson Ecotank ET-18100 / ET-18050 printing size little bit stretched

It was a typo. Image turns out 561 mm long. :) 3 mm longer than expected. Also prints on A3 are longer, it has nothing to do with the media size.

new Epson Ecotank ET-18100 / ET-18050 printing size little bit stretched

Hi, I bought a new EPSON ET-18100 and have the problem, that prints are a little bit too long. I print on custom paper size (329 x 579 mm) and a printed square of 310 x 558 mm is 310 x 561 mm long. So it is only stretched. Borderless printing is not possible for custom formats, so I have no...

    ArgyllCMS with Barbieri Gateway CIE

Hi, i have a Barbieri Spectro Swing and want to use it with ArgyllCMS. Does anyone know if i can use measurement data from Barbieri Gateway? And how? Barbieri Gateway generates a CIE file, but ArgyllCMS wants a TI3 file. How can i transform CIE to TI3? Or what is the best practice to use the...

Epson L1800 magenta dust beside black at right area of A3 paper

We use jgp, because normally we get photos from our customers. And only with less compression (in Photoshop quality 12) We also used in history a Canon, some Epson 1500W and a Pro 4900. We had never this problem. Only with the L1800. So i can exclude JPG as source for the trouble. The artefacts...

Epson L1800 magenta dust beside black at right area of A3 paper

The platen gap could be the reason. I checked "heavy paper" and the printer produce massive magenta dust at the left side of black elements on the whole sheet. Is there a possibility to fine tune the platen gap?

Epson L1800 magenta dust beside black at right area of A3 paper

The original is a JPG, printed with Illustrator. But the JPG is not the problem, i print some copies on one sheet and only the right area has this magenta dust. Attached a png.

Epson L1800 magenta dust beside black at right area of A3 paper

Hi, i have a problem with my L1800 (printed 3000 sheets A3). If i print black elements with yellow background at A3-sheets, the printer produces in the right area of the sheets a magenta dust directly beside the black elements. But only in the right area. It starts (not noticable) in the...

    Epson EcoTank Roll to Roll

I used PrintFab in the first years of development. It was free and ICC Service was cheap. Later I used only the original drivers because I bought a barbieri spectro swing. But meanwhile PrintFab has some more possibilities :-)

    Epson EcoTank Roll to Roll

I found the solution. PrintFab has an option "roll", so the paper stops and you can start the next print job or make some copies of last job. There is a 30 day full working demo version to check. I get no provision, this is only for info because i'm happy :-)

    Epson EcoTank Roll to Roll

The ET 16650 is a A3 model and with RIP (PrintFab) i can print up to 10 m length. But problem is, that this printer don't stop after print job, because he tries to eject the paper. And from roll this ends after full roll is ejected :) So you have to cut the paper before you print. And there is...

    EPSON L805 color profiles

Thanks for your answer. If they work, they are cheaper than Ultrachrome D6... The ET-7700 has no light colors. Do you dilute the inks, so you have light magenta and light cyan for the L1800?

    EPSON L805 color profiles

Do you used the Fujifilm / Epson D6 plus dilution ink set in the L805? I have a problem with stripes, when i use these inks. Nozzles are 100% free, but i get massive stripes in brighter colors. If i switch to original inks, everthing is ok. If i switch to fujifilm and Epson D6 i get stripes...

    Change Epson 1430 mainboard

It is possible, that the L1800 board won't fit in your printer, because there are 2 versions of 1430W/1500W with different metal case. I have a L1800 board which only fit in the old version, but my working 1500W is the newer version...
