Does this mean printing a certain file on 130-160 gsm white glossy label sheets on default quality will have the same speed as printing this file on 80 gsm plain paper on default quality?

Hi I am talking about home and office printers, not specialized photo/art printers. Manufacturers don't state these speeds. If anyone tried printing on glossy labels, please share your speed and the rated speed of the printer at 80 gsm plain paper. Thanks

Thanks for the link to the manual. The reason why Epson does not state two maximum weights for this printers is likely due to it being generally used for documents printed on plain paper, and not for photos. So I will just assume that the maximum weight Epson states (255 g/m²) is for plain paper.

As The Hat said, you need a larger paper size and get it trimmed.

In addition to Riso, Epson, Canon and HP started making linehead printers, as opposed to the shuttle print head.

Some presses can go upto 470 gsm. Expensive but possible. Intec and xante printers are not made by them but are modified versions of OKI.
