I would not replace the 106 dye black with the 105 pigment black (matte) unless you print 100% just on matte papers, copy papers and alike; there is only one black ink channel on your XP-15000. I did not test fading of pigment inks.

You probably have air in the tubes, connect a tube to the damper and pull ink via the damper outlet with a syringe and re-insert the damper(s) into the carriage.

No, there is no verification print after you enter the correction values and finish/close the alignment job. When you start the alignment job again it starts from the uncorrected status. It just may display your last entries. So don't go into an endless iterative cycle.

Such electrical measurement won't tell you anything about clogged nozzles. What is the problem you have with the L3250 ? It is very successful flushing the printhead - wihtout taking it out , there are plenty Youtube videos showing the process.
