Have anyone tried to change Absorber in a Ts9150?
Does anyone know where to by an absorber kit?
My experience is limited to changing absorber in Ip7250.
Agree - it's a gamble.
Lets say IMO:
2 heads to get one with minor lines i a color is roughly $400 in EU.
This price is egual to 14 cartridges CLI-581XXl (exclusive a new printer for CD).
If I need the CD printing I would still try to keep the IP4500 alive.
Currently I'm trying to keep two...
I agree - use only parts from dealers!
But if the only option is a new printer I would try to by a printhead anyway (I'll even try twice).
(May main concern is the price of ink for new printers, which fast will be higher than two tries.)
I have no TS3150, but a IP7250, a TS705 and a TS9150 and have tried refilling all of them.
IMO: Do not even try!.
Apart from the work, you will have problems with getting the right colors in pictures.
I do pictures on TS9150 and TS705 with OEM ink (expencive, but works),
I do unimportant color...
I'm currently applying this method - with very little luck and heavy ink use (for nozzle check).
Maybe I just have to be patient?
As I could not easyly buy the liquids I bought a cleaning kit from JETlitetech specially for Epson ink.
(I needed the tubeing and fittings)-
Please notice.
BK is only used for picture printing and only for sharpening edges.
You can do color printing in ok quality with the fault.
There is one very good reason to do so: cheap ink.
Try to see if you can find any significant difference in your print-outs.
Don't waste money on...
On my second IP7250 print head (no magenta) I tried to open the head (no way).
Then I tried to press water through the blue inlet, and the yellow inlet and here the water is running through nicely.
Question:
What can use to clean the magenta inlet?
If liquid for how long and what is the active...
In order to prevent clogging magenta I cleaned the print head with water (tube and syringe) and installed a new Canon cartridge. Did some test runs and replaced the Canon cartridge with at non OEM cartridge (7eur/cart). For two weeks no clogging.
In the proces I have a second head with allmost...
I've seen that too and The Hat claimes it is due to poor ink. I agree (problem gone with OEM ink).
This problem is a blocking in the print head itself from the inlet and out.
Normally I can press cleaning liquid (or water) through with a tube and a syringe, but not anymore.
As I see it there...
I'm presently trying two danish suppliers of ink. No blocking after two weeks.
On an other print head for the IP7250 I have a blocking I'm not able to open/remove.
I have tried cleaning liquid, water and soaking for a week. I still not able to press liquid through the inlet of magenta...
I tried to have a look, but my french and dutch is very poor. There are no english on the site.
Also I noticed something about Corona, but could not understand and txt could not be copied.
It seems your statement 'Poor ink' is correct.
The head is now running with OEM magenta.
I tried to register at 123ink.ie, but no luck.
I need some help in finding a cheap non OEM ink (refill?) (3-5 EUR).
I'm presently testing ink from danish suppliers (Nordic-ink and Printerrefill)
Do I understand you correctly - the problem does not exist with OEM ink?
Do you have a suggestion for quality ink supplier (cheaper than OEM, 17 EUR)?
I've tried two different danish suppliers (china ink).
