Maxify PGI-1200 Refillable Cartridges - Leaky Blue?

Actually there is no blue ink in CMYK printers only cyan. Blue ink only exists in dedicated photo printers and is actually a type of violet/purple ink. Magenta too is not red, because red only exists in some dedicated photo printers like the XP-15000 and the R1800/R2000 printer and is more a...

Trying to generate linearisation profiles with QTR: results are worse

Not sure what I did wrong last time, but probably printing the target was printed using the wrong setting: I now choose the setting: let printer manage color and in the printer driver I choose: ABW > dark. After drying the target I scanned the target and export the data in CIELAB format txt and...

    New owner of Precisioncolors

Michael Lee sold his company to an american entity and is now completely USA-based. Beneficial for US customers (tariffs). I only bought something about 15 years ago, but I had to pay alot of import duties and taxes. After that I never purchased from them again, because there was no shipping...

The surface is of the PLA print is indeed slightly rough, so the printer should have a good grip to pull the tray inside the printer and thickness is also consistent over the hole surface (Tested with a calliper: 0.51 mm +/- 0.01 mm measured at several points). I don't think this is the reason...

I cannot increase the design too much, because it must be considered as thick paper. I already increased the thickness slightly and it did not corrects the slight angled slope during printing.

I could fight the problem of the slight slope with free transforming (rotating) the image with -2.2 degrees in order to get the image aligned across the PVC ID card. Not ideal, but it works.

Note: the above PVC-ID was already printed with my Canon TS705 printer and is only inserted inside the hole (if somebody thinks it is printed with the ET-8550). Now I understand there is no ET-8550 PVC-ID card tray, because it is the driver that blocks the usage of modified PVC-ID trays...

I think the rounded corners is not helping too. I will try to change it to rectangular sharp corners.

Today I tried to print a PVC ID card tray for my Epson ET-8550, but the cards are printed slightly skwewed....Not sure what is causing this. I tried the first and the second row, but the deviation angle seems to stay the same. Not sure what is causing this.
