I see the reference 228-target.ti3 (with my i1pro1) is not ok. I will upload it again. Please use this new ti3 als a reference to create the new ti3 using the scan data with the CR30.
Not sure this will work, because I think the sample_LOC is defined in the ti2 file, where you might extract from there.
Sorry I am a noob in Excel. I exported the whole thing again in csv-format.
This zip-file has a sample ti3 file include that I scanned using my vintage i1Pro1 spectro in the...
So I managed to include the spectra data: LAB + spectral data from 360-780 nm and a version with LAB + spectral data from 400-700 mm, as there is no value from 360-400 nm and from 700-780 nm (all 0).
Yes I get it....unfortunately there is te sample_Loc that is gone. I have to merge it with the ti2 file I think.
No the colorimeter is this one:

The CR30
Strangely...
Hi x64,
I got this when trying to create the profile:
It reads only 200 sets and expected 228 sets.....
I changed some description too like Colore Rep into iRGB_LAB (was i1RGB_XYZ).
The software under Windows gives this as scan values:
There is no much information about how to use this device: I have chose M0 /D50 at 2 degrees angle . Not sure in the UV-setting I should choose UV400 or not ???
Anyhow It picks up the color patches in LAB values.
just put a drop of water on the nozzle print and let it penetrate by itself and see if you see a black ring after the water droplet has diffused through the paper: rubbing is not a good way to determine it. It should be done by passive diffusion to see.
In that case did you buy from a legit reseller ? Epson's quality control is very good and the chances the PK or MK has be swapped is second to none or in practical terms: almost impossible.
I find it particular with the fail-safe bottles it should not be possible to put MK into the PK container; it won't fit. The bottles will not release ink unless the bottle is inserted properly into the right ink slot. It is a very smart solution.
Maybe a bit paranoia, but I think the next step will be some kind of pricing based on the profiles you make; most probably free for consumer and prosumer printers for RGB printer profiles, but for higher end printers using CMYK printer targets things can add up with this subscription system...
Are you sure ??? MacOS tends to override the drivers after an update overwriting the previous proprietary Canon and Epson drivers with their own Airprint drivers. Please double check if you can disable color management in the printer driver setting .
How laughable this is:
New print on the same device and some new firmware so the new software will accept it, but the same older device is discarded and rejected. It should be prohibited becasue of e-waste. The EU will not allow this.
