@Smile - thanks for the links, the aliexpress links just tell me that the item is not available at my location; I'll try early next year to contact the 'Made in China' link,
There is a rarely known effect with the i1 spectro and this halogen lamp, when you reach the end of the lifetime of this...
I just got a set of T49H dye ink bottles - 150 ml - for the T3100X - which I have to use up since I loaded pigment inks into the T3100X instead, leftover pigment inks from the gone P7600
I'm a prime user of Epson hardware and Epson/Epson compatible inks, I tested Canon inks in the past when I got such inks which I then included into the tests, and I still have plenty of leftover inks from other previous tests. Chromalife 100+ inks are only available in cartridges for the Pro...
I got the T3100X delivered last Friday - on a Europallet on an Epson pallet - the printer with all its styropore is covered by a big box open at the bottom and strapped to a pallet with several strong straps. I got the printer initialized and running with pigment inks - leftovers from my old...
May I draw your attention to a flag in the driver which affects the handling of profile settings in application software e.g. PaintShop - and not in the driver.
It's in the extended settings on the maintenance tab of the ET-8550 driver
I'm using Qimage and cannot tell you which impact this...
You may a look as well to the extensive testing by maximilian59 which includes Chromalife inks.

I'm placing the test targets into the outside environment with a varying amount of sun, humidity, temperature and UV radiation which all I don't measure so I can't even come close to Aardenburg numbers, not to talk even about issues with the reciprocity approach Aardenburg and Wilhelm Research...
Not really - you just need to move the printhead carriage a bit out of the way - just power up the printer and pull the power cord as soon as the carriage starts moving. This moves the carriage out of the way and you can easily move it around.
And please do a nozzle check after the purge - scan...
Printer hoarding was already a subject in the forum quite some time ago

I dumped my 20 year old Epson Pro 7600 about half a year ago and have an Epson SC-T3100X on order which is supposed to be delivered just...
That's with the VFA setting which uses the pigment inks only; pigments don't soak as much into the paper as dye inks - the pigments are larger.
Pigment inks smear off on glossy papers
Printing software Qimage simply tells you which resolution is active with an image and which particular driver...
the different paper settings may go with different ink limit settings for different papers - an ink limit per color and a total for mixed colors - mixed as C+M+Y+B; different coatings need different ink limits - you may otherwise get ink puddles on the paper - with by far too much ink for a...
I would do that already at the time of scanning - I don't have your printer but there should be a B/W mode at which you can adjust the threshold in a preview.
The ET-7750 got phased out since quite a while, and dealers have been/are clearing inventory of the 106 inks: I did some testing of the 106 vs. the 114 inks some time ago - both are very good performing inks - with its longevity and gamut . I'm doing the same using the 106 inks in my current...
I'm using the service manual, not the user mnl , there is a paper skew adjustment mentioned on p 148 but I'm not sure whether that would fix your problem
I must admit I'm a kind of lost about the effect you are having; I'm looking into the service manual and see on p148 that a paper skew adjustment can be done - with the adjustment program which you would have to buy separately to the manual if available at all, and it is not clear that this...
