Interesting concept. I think I'll stick with the squeeze bottles though.
I'm sure that gigigogu could make a refilling jig for it similar to his storage devices.
How long did you wait from when power was removed to plugging it back in?
I just had a weird occurrence on my daughter's iP4500 where it was unplugged for a week (spring break), when I plugged it in I pressed the power button and held it for a couple seconds. It turned on, heard it go through...
The opaque ones do present a challenge. I have no direct experience with transferring chips so I can't help you there. I don't know if you've tried a Search or not but there may be a topic that answers that question. Good Luck.
ferny, welcome to the forum. Rather than clicking "Post reply" in this topic, it would be better to back out to the forum index and click on the "Post new topic" link to start a new topic for your problem.
Having said that, I think one of tubes on your purge unit has come loose. To give you an...
Even if you move the chips to a another cartridge, you'll still need to reset it. Or disable ink monitoring on your printer. Why not just refill your OEM carts? there's a number of threads here about refilling 525/526 carts.
You can get a resetter from...
I looked on the Alibaba site (search for "invisible ink" then choose "Digital printing" under the Printing Type heading on the left) but it seems to only reference Epson printers.
I don't have a custom profile set up yet but here is how I print from Photoshop Elements:
1) More Options (from Print dialogue window)
2) Color Handling = Printer Manages Colors; Image Space: sRGB IEC1966-2.1; Rendering Intent = Perceptual
3) Printer Preferences...
Main Tab - Media Type =...
I'm getting ready to re-order ink from here: http://stores.ebay.com/PrecisionColors
I can't speak to the G&G ink but Image Specialists ink from Precision Colors is highly recommended here. Be sure to buy the correct type for each printer as they vary slightly.
@Thirlla, I didn't search for your question but here's a forum devoted to disc printing: http://club.myce.com/f123/
When I noticed lines on my WaterShield discs when printed from my iP4500, I manually cleaned the rollers inside the printer. They went away.
Are the word documents making it to the print queue? That is, if you right click on the printer icon in the notification tray and choose Open printers, do you see the print job in the queue?
TY TY TY.
profile.dat is indeed in my I:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\CanonBJ\IJPrinter\CNMWINDOWS\Canon iP4500 series folder.
My system disk is I but that doesn't matter. Why I have a All Users folder and an All Users.Windows folder I don't know but that's the way...
Before I do that, Peter, I should clarify..... It's not the printer's associated color profiles but rather a profile in the printing preferences window.
If you right click on the printer in the Control Panel and choose Properties and go to the Color Management tab, the Profiles listed are...
Thanks Hat. Already looked there before posting. Not there.
None of the ICC profiles in that folder show a modified date/time of when I created the profile. Would it still be in one of those files? If so, how do I know which one?
cosink, you may want to start a new topic to ask your question...
I've searched but can't find anything that says where Profiles that are added in the printer's Properties are saved.
In the printer Properties Profile tab, you can Add to Profiles and give it a name. Where is this saved? I searched the Registry, not there. I did a file search for files modified...
What about flushing the cyan cart and refilling it? If it's a flow issue, maybe flushing will help? It could be worth a try before going the new print head route.
