At this point I have a question:
if it's rated for 13.000 pages why the printhead is rated for 29.400?
shouldn't be possible to get more life from a printer by replacing the printhead? I would have assumedthat the printhead was rated for less amount of pages.
Like for example total life...
Is buried so deep? Nice to know however was wondering maybe do exists resellers aimed specifically to the pro market and production centers that work with 2100,4100 and 6100 products. I have to ask a friend here with a poster service they say that they aren't using oem ink anymore on that...
What about printer speed?
Comparing the canon website description It's said:
6 min A2 (pro1000) vs 5:20 min A3+ (pro 10s) vs 7:55 min A3+ (9500mk2) maximum settings average coverage
However reading real world reviews says that the printer is very slow, so maybe I will pass
Printers could probably be seen as car in future, you can get various brands of fuel.
Heh can't speak for Germany, don't want to open another topic see also the mess happened with the Diesel stuff...
Well I was not considering to buy 12 L of inktek, maybe a bit less however.. well you are...
If canon do so, there's high possibility that the Europe will intervent. In Europe is maturing seriously a green minded culture, we are sick of vendors lock ins, closed things that forces you to waste stuff and so on.
They are considering to force the vendors to even increase the years of...
Not considering the 300 one because of the price. Would go for an used pro 10S as alternative.
This is not a problem, I print mainly A3 and sometimes A4, never do 4x6 (10x15 cm), have some packs of 4x6 gifted with older hp cartridges, still packaged never used.
What do you mean for tampering...
In the case I will need to change the 9500 MK2 for another printer, given that the 9500 MK2 is very slow, how are the speed of the PRO-10S and PRO-1000 in comparison ?
On the 9500 MK2 a print of an A3 medium coverage at 4800dpi (high 2 setting) takes around 5-6 min per print, while a 9600dpi...
Hello man, it's an interesting topic however this is the member introduction forum, maybe you can ask a moderator to move the topic in the right section.
What you want to know specifically ? I assume the paper, ink and all other things depends also on your budget. There are papers that are...
In your opinion counts also the coverage? I'm recently using the 9500 for print black only graphics, around 400-600 A3 sheets already printed for a project in a month. Hoping they will count as ~150 photos because coverage is inferior.
Just to understand, to me 2500-5000 prints are very low as an useful life of a printer like that. It's sold as a laboratory printer for shops at least here in Italy given the original price of ~ 1000€
Are you talking of 2500 borderless prints? if so could make more sense. In any case during the...
I see, regarding fast fading actually I have various prints done with refilled dye that are lasting a bit and the prints I do are not intended to stay hanged on the wall so is not a big issue for me. Curious if someone did a comparative between various dye refills tho.
My comment was in general about the fact people stash printers not specifically for the pro 10 that is a very good printer.
Even if I'm interested more in the 100S because I love dye inks and glossy medias.
I don't use i1Studio software. I have no problem at all using argyll being a programmer myself. The only problem I have is that is difficult read so many patches on a single sheet. In past I used various sheets in order to obtain 400-600 patches but since I'm swapping a lot of times the inks for...
Hello, I'm using Colormunki and argyll to profile but I'm limited to around 250 patches per sheet while I would like to go up to 900 patches per sheet like @Emulator do in this post...
Thanks, maybe I will consider buying it too, for now it seems the problem is solved.
What I wanted to ask is: there's the possibility that the printer itself got damaged or in the worst case scenario I just lost the chip?
