1) Actually Epson went though a lot of bother and effort to design their cartridges so that not only are they difficult to refill, but so they provide consistent flow regardless of how full they are. I'll agree, they will operate under a wide range of conditions than thermal based printers...
Obviously for Europeans they are more likely to hit the east coast than west. It's harder to avoid tax on the east coast but there are states without sales takes, on the east coast Delaware, and New Hampshire. Alaska, Montana, and and Oregon have no state sales tax. Cities may have their own...
in very simple terms
Brother offers two printers. One is $30 cheaper, but spending $30 extra will result in lower long term costs resulting in a net savings of $30 after 2353 pages @ about 5% coverage. But if you are willing to spend less from the get go and an extra 1.275 cents/page, you get...
Well I "would" say buy a laser for your daily printing and buy a photo printer for the odd photograph, but the simple fact of the matter is AIO inkjets are as cost effective, if not cheaper, than just the printer. Often they take different cartridges so you do have to be careful what you buy...
My last HP was the first in a series of Carly printers. It was the PSC 950. It was kind of in service but the scanner went kapaut. I believe this was the white alignment strip becoming yellow. This is the reason why my microtek scanners failed. HP build quality suffered 2001 or so...
You want an ammonia window cleaner. That's basically what ink is, deionized water, ammonia, glycol, and some dye. Blue is preferred, the crystal clear stuff contains it's own alcohol, but i'm not sure about ammonia. Avoid the thick pink Windowlene.
If you can't find a window cleaner with...
Well, I'm going to take the plunge with Pigment inks for the Epson. Get my self outfitted with a CISS and such.
At present I'm considering Media Street. The prices seem to be the same between Lyson, MIS, and Media Street but Media Street offers an added bonus of providing paper profiles if...
In this case, the mp530 doesn't support Ethernet, which I got the impression that the OP wanted network support. Also, at the time of my posting, the mp530 wasn't cheap.
In the states, the mp530 floats at $100. The mp610 (no ethernet, no fax can be had from Amazon for $90. It shares a head...
It's the first time I heard of them giving this paper for head alignments.
However, it's a bit of a moot point. You only do the head alignment when you replace your head. Ordinary paper should do the trick, but preferred would be matte inkjet paper. There should be an option for a manual...

Price dropped to $89 shipped for the mp610.
Yes, I know this, I think I just posted a list of printers that use the same printhead.
The thing is I know you can buy the mp610.

In fact it's now $90 from...
Redsetters float about $30 shipped. I only presume they are the real deal.
Well, the 2 year warranty is rather cool, but 1/2 the price is hard to resist. Granted I don't know if it's a genuine Sudhaus product, but I don't know if RKS owns the copyright to the software either.
I have to...
I don't know where the ip4500s are. They might exist in real brick and mortar stores.
The mp610 is preferred. it has the three nozzles 1/2/5pl and the text 20/30pl (I don't remember the exact size).
the mp530 is based on the ip4200 printhead, and is smaller than the ip4300/4500, and only...
The printhead is a dead giveaway. I see the part listed as QY6-0075 or QY6-0067
It's listed as being a part for the
* Canon BJ-IP5300
* Canon MP810
* Canon BJ-IP4500
* Canon MP610
You can also see...
Cool beans.
In the states, they are in shorter supply, but the AIO models you can get are within $50 of the ip4600. You can get a referb for about the same price as a ip4600.
http://www.inkjetreset.com is an interesting site, mainly because it offers a link to Richard Carrier's "The God That Wasn't There". Not that I have any issues with the film, other it's a low budget flick, but it strikes me as being as tacky as those people who advertise their business with...
Well, if you kept the caps, this wouldn't be an issue. You could cap and bag the cartridges. You lose some ink taking out the printhead, like a gram or two IIRC.
I've been meaning to look into this. I was looking though the numbers and it seems the worst ink waste are those users who only print just beyond every two weeks.
I don't have a suitable image for testing but if I were to propose a game plan it would be to take said document, print to a...
AFAIK, while aspects of the canon head to have patents, this whole photolithographic process is well, rather normal these days. HP has been making them this way since 2005. Prior generations employed bonding. Current HP printheads are "ultra" small. Keep in mind that canon isn't actually...
