Canon PIXMA Pro 9500? Is there a CISS for it?

As far as I know, memjet technology is not that cheap yet. The printers and the consumables cost a lot.

DCP-115C uses separate cartridges for each color and I find it difficult to believe that you have installed them in different order. I'd suggest trying the printer's cleaning cycle couple of times. If you have a spare set of cartridges, you can try replacing them for a color test. Are the...

There are some overall ratings on both sites: Epson Artisan 837 - 4.4 out of 5 Canon PIXMA MG8220 - 3.3 out of 5 I'd personally go for the Epson, not only because of these ratings but because of my past experience with both of the brands.

When I was young, there was something about lemon juice and a lighter, but can't quite remember how it goes... :)

Have you changed the inkjet cartridges on the printer in question before got the shut down notice? If you have and if you have used compatible/remanufactured cartridges, it might be a case of poor quality ink cartridges. It's always better to go for a fresh start, so you'd better uninstall all...
