I just got my shipment in from China! Checked them on my Resetter and in a printer and they light up! Can't wait to fill some up and really see if they're the real deal.
$20.37 USD a set with chips. I'm not sure if they are ARC's but I have a resetter so no big deal.
Here's the link where we...
Well,
after talking with mikling yesterday we agree that there is definitely a change in the magentas and he's already on top of it. I will be running his new batch as soon as it and some empty carts arrive. BTW, I have an order in for virgin CLI-42 tanks with chips and refill plugs coming soon...
We did buy some from a place in the States, World Class Ink, at a very good price of $85 ea. Unfortunately, the machine that I put them into wouldn't print the group2 colors so I sent them back thinking they were faulty. It was the bloody printer! Now he won't do business with us :(...
Well, good to hear that mikling is on the case! I just completed that monster job that I was talking about a while back and it cost us 6 printheads. This was almost 22,000 sheets mind you!
There is a definite problem with the magentas not flowing properly, even after a good flushing with...
Try and explain that slower is faster to your boss, LOL! The Mach 8 has nothing to do with HP, it uses a Memjet print engine. They sell their ink in large size containers and I believe they are made to be refilled by the user. The pigment ink doesn't look quite as nice on our paper either, the...
This is a commercial printing business, I print a couple of thousand sheets a week on average using 8 Canon Pro-100 printers. Check out our website: www.botanicalpaperworks.com
I don't understand the purpose of such a large sponge. We ran no name carts for 3 years on our 9000's with no problems and their sponge area was at least 2/3 smaller than the OEM carts.
Yup, it's starting to look like that. I had to do the same thing with the Pro-9000's, but with the cyans. Thanks guys, happy holidays! The biggest problem I think is the repetitive use of the same image over and over that's cooking them on long runs. When I don't have any long runs, during our...
I don't flush them before changing the ink. Just drill a refill hole, reset the chip and fill and go. The HP printers have a terrible paper path and also grab a lot of doubles, I have 3 of them here but we used them to replace some lasers in the office. They also have a terrible print length...
Well,
For starters, it's all Precision Colors ink. The carts aren't flushed until I notice a flow problem, which should answer your one question Mr. Hat. We try and swap before the warnings, but it's not always possible. Quiet mode is slower right? I don't think that would work out too well...
Hi all,
Having a huge problem with PC photo magenta plugging heads on our Canon Pro-100's. We used to have some of the same problems with our old 9000 MkII's doing this with anything but OEM Cyans, but we've lost 5 heads to this already.
I tried Pharmacist's solution for cleaning 2 heads...
Well,
I work on Macs for a living, and at home. You don't need an iMac if you already have a good monitor(s) and a ColorMunki Photo. We run a Mac Mini with an SSD pushing 8 Pro-100's simultaneously without a hitch all day long. 16GB of RAM mind you. I'm also listening to streaming audio...
