If you are happy with your prints then don't change. Im my case the direct drive produces better quality prints when doing single wall RC model parts. The Bowden drive worked after lots of tuning but the direct drive is more consistent when you need good layer bonding on a single wall 0.42mm...
Don't own an Ender but I know some do in the forum (@The Hat @Nifty ) so saw this and thought it was worth thinking about... at £29.

Well I can understand that as I have a CR10 that I never bothered to use Octopi with, however there is something nice abouit seeing all the information on a PC, tablet or smartphone and also watching the print remotely via a webcam link on the screen if you are doing other things.

Go for it. Install Klipper and tune for better prints and faster printing. This video covers the basic procedure but I would advise not to go for Octopi as either Fluidd or Mainsail web interfaces are now more advanced and have lots of support from the developers via the Voron channels on...
@Artur5 I may have a similar problem with the Cyan cart ARC chip. It is showing Unknown level in the display. I know it is about 75% full so will just monitor it and see what happens. Usually the machine will throw a B504 error when the cart is empty if the ARC does not work accurately. When...
Since I didn't have a clean ink botle to hand I decided to go the @The Hat / @Ink stained Fingers method. I found that I could stab a pointed long hypo though the seal that surrounds the valve and draw out the ink. For next time I will probably decant the remainder of the ink into an empty ink...
@Ink stained Fingers I tried that with the same tip but I could not get a good seal, maybe I need to spend a bit more time and see if it will seal properly.
Thats a good safe way to empty it.. Now I have another idea. Might try drilling a hole close to what appears to be a ball valve in the top. Then I can reseal the bottle rather than decant into another one.
Bought some Canon OEM ink (GI 56 BK bottle) in the hope of refilling a Maxify cart. I can't work out how to either get a needle into the bottle or alternatively remove the fancy refill valve on the bottle.
Anyone refilled from the same bottles and can help?
Probably because it is not a supported App in the Apple Mac Store. Normally it just refuses to run it and you can go into Preferences - Security and click "Open Anyway" but I have not seen that message before so maybe a new "feature" of the latest OSX.
