ahh crap I have everything but the brass part that goes to the clear hose.. the one I have is too small but I thought it would of fit :( it's a madhouse at home depot right now.
wow forgot to come back here.. so I will have to give the syringe way, I will have to get the parts for the faucet but at least I have all my OEM carts accounted for and I just need to get the ink.
Anyone know what stuff I should use to flush a ink cart? How would I know it needs to be flushed? I have some empty OEM Canon and aftermarket carts I kept and have been sitting for as few months but kept the caps on them, would they still need to be flushed? Never been refilled yet.
Well what happened with the media street ink and carts is it started to get clumpy in the spongy side, then it caused a ink feed issue with messed up the head so I had to get another head which was about 5-6 years ago.
From that point I used OEM carts then I switched back to non OEM about 3...
Those are long gone.. I have 2 sets of used non OEM carts but deciding if I want to refill or buy a epson artisan 730 and use a CIS system since doing 100 borderless 8x11's is going to suck a lot of ink.
A little late reply but I'm trying to decide now, the link you have wont I need empty carts? I used to use a system like that some 5 years ago with my i960 and I refilled them with media street ink..
However I was thinking about doing a CIS system because I'm printing some 50 color 8x11 pages...
I was trying to search on Google of people using a CIS on a i960.. since I don't do much photo printing at the moment I feel it would be a waste to get another printer.. however I don't know if I should just get another printer (Epson Artisan 730) or just keep the Canon and try a CIS on it?
This one is a bit older then my i960 but I've tried simple stuff before but not the windex way yet.. it's pretty much no output at all.. I'd have to get the model number.
At first not at all it's a 97 outback with 233,000 miles The phase I EJ25D was known for headgaskets that failed internal I did it all in a week while on vacation.
LOL I printed out the whole manual and these happen to be extras I did it over the summer to do the head gaskets fun :)
Well I just printed out 36 full page pictures and PM is pretty much empty now glad to have my printer up and running.. just to think I was so close yesterday thinking it was...
These inks I'm using right now are called "Sophia Global" They are not bad but It could be better to get a tad more saturation.. What settings do I need to change for that?
Well I had no others yet but I had some compatible carts I just got today.. I let the head soak for about 2 hours and then did the cleaning like shown here.. then i printed out the EEPROM test and you can see it here.. I recycled some paper since I did not want to use my photo paper I have.
a...
on the inkjetcart.us site if I order the kit I get everything including the syringe? I wonder if I can just do the ink and syringe with the needles I would like to try and use my OEM carts if I could.
