Have to press stop reset 6 time to get the MP280 into service mode.. 2 times dont work for MP280.. only orange light stay lit an no service mode..

Hello all, i have a canon MP280 that will not go into service mode. I hold down the stop/reset button them power button, after releasing the stop reset button an then pressing it again 6 time the orange light just stay lit an it not in service mode. Any idea on how i can fix this problem ?

I am having the same problem with a MP280, It will not go into service mode, just the orange light lit.. what can i do, did anybody get this fixed ?

SO every time that my printer goes down, i will have to spend $10 again ?

So after buying the reset, will i have to do it over an over again, or is it just a 1 time thing an the message will not come back..? i would really rather getting it done for fee, i have a few printers with the problem. i cant see to find any more info on the buy reset.. any help anybody.. how...

Hello. Could you tell me which ink is the best in to use to print photo, dye or pigment ? I have herd that the dye ink will fade an water will make it run but what if i should use only pigment in the black ciss tank ?

I was wondering the same thing. I want to get me a picturemate am some refillable ink cartridges but i would want to know if i could just use regular photo paper an regular dye ink.

You would have to get a DIY kit an make it up. You have to add it to the cartridges. I am in Jamaica W.I. an i sell install CISS on that printer with no problem.

Hey.. I was having some problem with a officejet 6000, but i got it sorthed out.. I took all the ink out of the cartridge the kit came with an it work find now.. I had a problem of it flooding..!
