Can I use squeeze bottles instead of the syringe for this method? Which would be better for this method, syringe or squeeze bottle? I figured with a syringe I can leave the syringe in while the sponge is absorbing the ink, whereas with a squeeze bottle, the bottle might bend the needle if I...
Hey for the mail in rebate, it asks for the UPC barcodes, did you cut out all three barcodes, or just one of them? When I open the box, it shows two UPC barcodes in addition to the one on the outside. The two UPC barcodes on the flap each say something to the effect of secondary proof of...
It is the IP5200R that has wifi and not the IP5200. I think most people recommend refilling using original canon oem carts. The recommend inks to use for refilling was I think formulab, hobbicolors, image specialist/MIS inks. They were a couple others but I don't remember them
Thank you for this guide, do you have maybe an online link or anyone else to purchase the right size needle and syringe though (Like Amazon or Ebay, Ink refiller retailers)? My local pharmacy doesn't carry them. Thanks again.
Yeah, when I first read your post, it didn't seem to list the rebate without the Camera purchase for me, so I thought I'd give a heads up. It does show now though, and like you I ended up buying it as well. I was previously going to buy the MP610, but figured for about the same price after...
I'm not sure if you already know this, but that $100 rebate requires a separate purchase of a Canon Rebel XTi or XT DSLR Camera to be eligible for the rebate. I don't know enough about refilling so others can handle that.
So how does the MP610 and MP970 compare to the MX700 and MP830? I know the MP610 doesn't have fax or networking and the MP970 doesn't have fax. Are the MP610 and MP970 refillable as no one seems to have posted anything about them in the other thread about firmware or something disallowing carts...
Can anyone tell me which prints better photo quality pictures, the G&G or MMC prefilled carts? I'm using them in a Pixma IP5000. I don't really care about text or anything as long as the text is readable. It used to be recommended to get G&G or to fill you own carts, but what is recommended now...
Okies, using Acoustica seems to have solved the problem. Do you know why Surething won't work correctly? I mean, it worked before, but not it doesn't. Thanks again.
