If you have hosed the printer and need to replace it, this is worth a look IMO. Currys and PC World have them for 250 if you don't want to wait on WEX

It is out of stock at most places which list them at a decent...
Could be worth getting a couple of the cheap sets to use when the dreaded head cleans need doing. Swap them for the inkowl ones, run the head cleans until the nozzle check is OK then take them out and put them in a sealed plastic bag, then carry on using the inkowl ones for printing.
These are the genuine inks

Which location are you in, am in the UK using compatible which vary between 18 and 21ml of ink per cartridge and the printer recognises them as " genuine "
Does your R2880 halt mid print when it needs a new cartridge, then complete the print?
If it were me, I would take the offer from ink-system, especially if it is near enough to take the printer back if you get any problems running the CISS
Have heard good things about cityinkexpress.co.uk both for service and after sales.
I have an R2880 and Epson say it uses a higher quality ink set to the 1500W so would produce better images, however, as my printers only get to see genuine ink if it comes in the box, I suppose that theory is out of the equation?
The 1500 droplet size is 1.5pl against 3pl for the R2880 so, if...

In devices and printers, right click the printer, click printer properties, click advanced. There are a couple of settings there, see if print directly to the printer makes any difference.
If not, you could use their live chat, (only open during the week) and say the inks are genuine Epson if...
I would only run this with a waste ink tank fitted

Next to head cleaning is an ink charge option, which may help, that part of WIC Reset is free to use
Let me know if you need to reset the waste ink counters as there may be a...
Have just run mine, which has been idle for a couple of months, it whirred for ages but printed fine, of the Epson printers I use, it is the one most likely not to clog, in fact, cannot remember it clogging. If it runs out of ink mid print, it halts, then continues the print seamlessly after the...
Apparently you can use either type

In elements, when you click image then resize, is constrain proportions ticked?
Another option is to use irfanview to resize it then use your usual programme to print it, although you can also print it from irfanview, which has a stretch to page option.
The irfanview plug ins are useful...
