Code to run nozzle check from batch file

KB Microsoft update files. You can find Microsoft tech forums online, developers themselves openly discussing amongst themselves sinister things (installing hidden kb's that operate as telemetry and such). Anyways I started installing one of these Malwarebytes, Bit whatever and yep, it said it...

Code to run nozzle check from batch file

I wholeheartedly agree. It's just I have noticed a complete bait n switch agenda with this whole internet today. Used to run Norton, Adaware, all that good stuff. Today there are articles that point out these very softwares install "pups" themselves. Tried to install (Adaware and a few others)...

I'm am now an official "getting fingers dirty"

Party pooper! On a serious note, what could happen if I overfill? I was reading the thread last night about the 2 tier sponge design, saying that Canon may purposes underfill cartridges as the top sponge can by all means hold extra quantities? (Contrary to the selling us out theory I believe...

I'm am now an official "getting fingers dirty"

Thanks to all of you, I couldn't do it without you, special gratitude to @websnail at OctoInk. …you are my official "dealer" Feels so good to not be a "newbie" any more. Now ask away, any questions? Notice how I started out "wetting the whistle" on the Yellow dry CLI-8? That's right y'all...

    Another Yellow cart ?

I've done it, friends, I've done it!! Now what? How long do I have to wait until I can use said Yellow (refilled from "dry") P.S. …I've done it!! …my poor CLI-42 :(

    Another Yellow cart ?

Fine. I shall attempt to switch out chips from CLI-42 to CLI-8. I watched a few video tutorials, will practice on the CLI-8 first and see if I am able to do it right. Should I use a teeny bit of glue and if so, what glue, PVA? Thanks for the support, guys!

    Another Yellow cart ?

Ok, you've got me. I will be totally honest. I am scared of swapping out the chip. But I will flush out the OEM and make sure it is pristine white before I commence.

Code to run nozzle check from batch file

Recently reinstalled my PC and watched what I put on it, it is now free of all "junk" software, insanely fast for a cheap laptop, boots up and starts (Windows Explorer) almost immediately on boot. Highly recommend to anyone that hasn't reinstalled for a while (years) to reinstall from fresh and...

Code to run nozzle check from batch file

For sure, had my fair share of viruses (viri? ) but it's usually Anti-virus / malware software that takes care of it, not "security updates". Even now I don't trust anti-virus software, they themselves are "in on it". I merely use my computer for Printing/Graphic Design, have the necessary...

    Another Yellow cart ?

You are my man! I have spent a while hunting sources for flushing out carts and there are not that many out there (I don't have one of those massive syringes that I see being used, but yes I do have Windex-D) I am thinking of just plain filling the OEM Yellow Cart with OctoInk Yellow and see how...

Amazing Deal! Ilford Photo Real Silk £2 for 25 Sheets!

Because you guys are always so good to me I am letting you in on this (no way would I give this up on DPReview, those with more money than brains with their expensive equipment, latest lenses that cost more than my house would buy it all up!) So this is discontinued paper, I had a pack from...

    Please help? Color Management Madness!

Just an update, thank you for your assist... Turned out my solution was to switch the 24" LG monitor to become Primary Monitor and relagated the Laptop Monitor to Secondary. I guess there is not enough power as it is only a laptop, but it works now as intended… what I see on the screen a)doesn't...

Code to run nozzle check from batch file

I went the flip route, having grown up on Mac in the 90's for about 10 years (G3, Cube, etc) the past (next) 10 years have been pure Windows PC. Cost has probably been the main reason, but also not being locked in to 'Mac-only', even though not Linux, is still more freeing, up to a point. And...

That is part of the "dupe"… "this is a security announcement", "for your security"... I have and continue to do so after 10 years OS's as they are (barring perhaps the initial "necessary" upgrades) and have not once experienced a "security breach". By all means, some software updates to fix...

Transferring newer paper thin Canon chips.

I have just started refilling for the first time. Pro-100. CLI-42. Octoink.TThe only cart I have not refilled yet is the Yellow. After some consideration I plan to completely flush out the CLI-42 and not use the CLI-8. May I ask a question please? While I am in no way ignorant regarding the...

Erm, why would you EVER "have to" run Windows 10? Windows 7 for life! The last of the Freedom, and even then I am noticing strange happenings with Windows 7 lately (Wi-fi automatically turning on at random times, something that has never happened before. Turns out to be a 'Microsoft Virtual...

    PRO-100/CLI-42 carts

On a sife note, Is it safe to put thick black PVC (Electrical) Tape in addition to the Silicon Plug? This is what I have done, first time refiller here… at first I thought it is better to be safe and not risk a leak if the Silicone Plug doesn't fit well and comes loose inside Printer. But...

    Another Yellow cart ?

I ordered Windex-D from Amazon for trying to "unclog" an ix6550 Print Head… it's the genuine product, meaning I had it shipped to UK, for cheap as chips. However, upon further research it is probably that this 'Ammonia-D' contains such minuscule amounts of actual Amonia that I also ordered pure...
