Hello, All!

My new Lexmark printer setup is driving me crazy! It is not finding my home Wi-Fi connection even after resetting printer and router!

Any ideas??

I've even been standing right next to the router with the printer!
Help please....

Most often, a Lexmark printer cannot detect the Wi-Fi network because your router is operating on the 5 GHz band, whereas the printer strictly requires the 2.4 GHz band. To resolve this issue, go to your router’s settings and temporarily disable the Smart Connect feature, or split the networks by creating a separate name for the 2.4 GHz band. Also, be sure to disconnect the Ethernet cable from the printer; otherwise, the Wi-Fi module will automatically be disabled. As a quick workaround, try connecting the devices directly by pressing the WPS button on the router and in the printer’s network menu. If that doesn’t work, download the official Lexmark Mobile Assistant app, which will transfer the necessary network settings to the printer directly via your smartphone.
