Thanks Martin, I love reading the old threads. I think I can do this conversion!
On another note I love the old camera in your avatar pic. My dad and I used to collect speed graphics and others as well as my brother. When they both passed I inherited all the cameras and now have a large...
Many thanks to Hat for his help! I didn't mean to hi jack the other thread, so in case there are others considering installing a ciss on an Epson printer that uses pigmented ink, this could be a place ! to start
I already have a new empty tank on hand, so I think I'll go that route so I can...
Many thanks Hat, I'm know I can do it. I actually have parts on hand as I was going to add a ciss to an older printer then changed my mind. I actually love modifying tools and equipment !
Many thanks Hat for the heads up on this problem. This is another example showing how valuable it is to have knowledgeable experts to help avoid the really big head aches !!!!
Would it be possible to disconnect my existing tubes and drop the tubes into vented ink bottles? Or will it require...
It's amazing how much there is to learn from our most experienced and knowledgeable members here.
I'M NOT ONE OF THEM
But they helped me have a great start and I was able to make awesome prints really quickly
I bought a WF 7610 primarily for the size of the scanner 11 x 17. There aren't...
Thanks for the great advice. I'm almost ready to put the carts in it. It's a good thing I'm not in a hurry
I come into my little print room and lose track of time.
I start to print a couple and before you know it, I have a stack of old train photos, airplanes and cars for my grandsons next visit.
My numbers are a lot lower, but my savings here are really great. With my pro 100, I refill all 8 at the same time.

Thanks Hat
That struck a nerve ! I hate the thought of ink being splashed and even worse on my prints where it doesn't belong.
I'm going to try it with win 7 and look for a more current version of photoshop
I do prefer borders also, I just want options for border less when I want to go...

The computer is a gift from my son and is only 2 months old and was built to be a dedicated unit for imaging purposes only, processing photos and printing graphic...

I really didn't expect to have problems as I had used xp and cs3 for so long and I'ts been easy...
