I got a broken epson printer + a bunch of ink, I plan to just pick up a cheap canon IP1800 (for 20 bucks), and refill with the epson ink, any chance this will work?
I was gonna buy a canon MP610, but the place had the CX5000 for 50 bucks, i couldn't pass it up. Now when i look at alotofthings.com they have pigment base ink and dye base, the dye base is a little cheaper but i was wondering if it's gonna work well. thanks.
So assume that i do buy the Canon MP520, it comes with 4 carts (canon carts). After i use it up, do i buy the "refill kit" or the "ink" only? I believe that the kit contains empty cart, not sure if i do need that? thanks.
the IP3500 refill doesn't look that bad, do you know how many times can you refill that canon cart that comes with the printer before you have to get new carts?
cool, thanks man, i think i just might pick up the C88 after all, it's cheaper than the IP3500, the IP4500 is too expensive for me. And i have to buy the refill inkpack or w/e i need (like 50 bucks). so it's not good, i think i'm just gonna stick with the C88
BTW: is formulabs ink sold by...
If i was to pick up a canon IP3500 or 4500, where should i buy the refill ink and the gear to do it? i read the guide (german translated)
and it seems that it's not too bad. However i have no clue where i'm gonna buy the ink/gear to do it.
is there any guide that shows how to refill for the IP3500? i saw the Epson C88 and that one has pretty cheap ink (prefilled cart). I check it out and it seems to have chips too, not sure how that one works either.
I've had huge problem with refilling (mess up my HP printer doing refills) and it gets messy, i just buy compatible cartrige now, i figure it'll be a little easier than busting out the kits all the time.
Which ink does the IP3300 use? i heard it's got some sort of chips on there, how does it...
I have a canon I860
1) this morning it stops printing black, so i change the blank (BK 6), i don't have a BK 3 (the big bottle), so i have been printing black on the BK 6 all this time
2) it still didn't print black
3) i tried the "clean nozzel" function, no dice
4) I took out the print head and...
