I've tried that unfortunately, the old one was full, so I replaced it with a brand new MC-20 maintenance cartridge, that's when this problem begun, but I had another brand new maintenance cartridge (2nd one) that I tried to make sure it wasn't just this maintenance cartridge that's the issue...

Does anyone know if this is the sensor (in the maintenance tank cavity)? chatgpt reckons this is the sensor but I'm a bit sceptical because I've poked/prodded it etc & it just feels like a little piece of plastic. Thank you 🙏

Ah thanks for the suggestion 🙏 I'm willing to try anything because since that error message popped up a few weeks ago, this printer is utterly useless & its a real shame. I've never heard of a printer error loop so thank you for suggesting, I will go down a rabbit hole learning about this...
