I use Kirkland Gloss and Granddads profile for that paper in my Canon i9900
I shoot mostly portraits. Suddenly a magenta cast dominates my prints.
Can anyone suggest a cause (cure)?

My i9900 did the same thing suddenly last month.
After changing all eight cartridges and my spare printhead . . no luck.
The solution was in the Canon Printing Preferences.
o Under "Color Adjustments" choose the "Manual" radio buton.
o Make sure the "Print Type" is set to NONE.

There is a program in memory inside the printer that reads the chip data.
Why not alter that code so that the printer doesn't care what data the chip returns?
