Dont like the idea about the top lid permanently open. Spiderman, did you consider to drill the printer to avoid this? Does Rihac instructions support for this installation way?

Which is the cover or lid it must be left open for tubing? you mean the front cover where you insert the cd tray for print, or the top lid you need to open up to replace empty cartridges??

Sorry, I meant rihac ciss needs oem chips, so disable ink monitor is required for it to work too; that's said on their site. They specify "oem chips".

SpideRMaN, CIS are designed to work on ARChiped cartridges, right? Since its said OEM cartridge are top quality to beat, would be wise to take empty oems, switch their chips with AutoReset ones, and plug and use them on the printer to work with the CIS? Dont know if you get me..
