Has anyone refilled a Brother HL-2170W Laser Printer

http://www.uninetimaging.com/downloads/technical/brother/english/Brother_HL_2170W_TN360_Reman_eng.pdf The most important thing is to BLOW OUT ALL THE OLD TONER. Brother cartridges cycle used toner back into the toner hopper so there will always be about 80g of unusable toner that will not...

Low density horizontal lines 4 cm apart

Mag Roller and PCR interval on the HP 1300 is 37mm. Transfer Roller (inside the printer, not the cartridge) is 45mm. From the look of your print, I'd say it's Mag Roller.

Anybody with an HP D7360 or D7460 ?

The HP 02 series of cartridges is VERY easy to refill. Originals can be drilled, filled and sealed with a gluegun. I have not tried the gasket & screw seal on these, but would recommend care to make sure the screw does not block or interfere with installation. However, the original chip will...

RKS Chip resetter aka Redsetter review and battery mod.

We ordered one of these and it arrived recently. Haven't tested it out yet, but I find your post extremely helpful as I'm pretty sure I'll be needing to replace the battery at some point.

    Bad refill quality

Speaking as a tech from a commercial refill place, I would simply accept the cartridge for recycling in the interest of maintaining our world class customer service. As for the technical side of it: The only thing stopping us from refilling an inkjet cart is an electrical failure in the...

3eBK Black - Not Working - Cleaned Head with Distilled Water - Perfect

The distilled water/compressed air method for cleaning printhead nozzles is called atomization. The trick is to avoid pushing air through the nozzles and thus creating air blockage bubbles in the ink chambers/lines. It also helps to have a system that produces water droplets small enough to...

Need information on the Epson situation

As I understand it, Epson's recent patent infringement settlement does not prevent refilled/remanufactured cartridges from being sold, but DOES prevent third-party compatible manufacturers who used to produce non-OEM cartridges from producing their compatibles. This settlement, combined with the...

    Lexmark X6570 refill - not!!!

They are fine as long as you use only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplies and pay the attendant costs. Lexmark/Dell is VERY aggressive both technically and legally in preventing refill/reuse.

What ink setup should i invest in for my new HP photosmart C6280

Your HP Photosmart C6280 Printer takes the HP 02 cartridge. It is a spongeless inktank with the printhead seperate, as such it's cheap and easy to refill (drill and fill), but you must find a workaround for the microchip. I wouldn't go for a complicated CIS unless you were printing very large...

    Refilling Dell Black Inkjet Cart.

Your ink overflow problems are almost certainly due to overfilling the trial cartridge. Trial cartridges have a VERY small capacity compared to a standard yield cart. Your printer takes the Dell Series 1 (T0529), which is already a small cart. Many Dell printers are manufactured by Lexmark, and...

new IP4500 time to replace CLI-8M/Y/C, but CLI-8Bk is still FULL, Why?

For inkjets with inktank cartridges and seperate print heads (such as your Canon) it is important to not to be running on empty. Essentially, what happens is that the printer will fire nozzles in the printhead. If full of ink the nozzles will fire and shoot microdroplets of ink onto your media...

Epson Stylus Photo 1400 : Refill vs. CIS vs. Suicide

The Epson Stylus Photo 1400 takes the T079 Series of cartridges. The originals are problematic to refill for all kinds of reasons (Low Ink Sensor burns out, Nine Pin Microchip, air bubble issues, etc etc). However, there *was* an eBay solution: http://stores.ebay.com/InkJetCarts Doesn't look...

WHat is the difference between high yield and normal cartridges?

HP 15a = 2,500 Pages @ 5% coverage HP 15x = 3,500 Pages @ 5% coverage HP 13a = 2,500 Pages @ 5% coverage HP 13x = 4,000 Pages @ 5% coverage As you can see, you can get a lot more pages out of the high yield cartridge. They have a lot more space for Toner. You will save time by refilling high...

    How not to use Superglue

    1) Let the glue gun heat up to the proper temperature. This will cause a lot of waste glue to drip out on some guns, but the glue you do shoot will be hot enough to get he job done. 2) Don't use really old gluesticks that have "spoiled". 3) Use the right kind of gluestick, don't use wood glues...

    Hp 22

How empty were the cartridges? There could have been residual ink in the magenta chamber/sponge if you aren't draining them or flushing them. If the HP22's all come from the same source (maybe a company with a green logo/color scheme) then I could see them with leftover magenta.
