Ok.. I'm back.... :D I've had a the printer for a while and I'm starting to be done with my second set of OEM cartridges. (I saved the first for the chips) Now I have to decide if I want to buy OEM 220/221 carts and switch the chips out so I have the non-opaque ones? Or just buy the carts...

I'm beginning to sense that from some of the other threads I've read.. Maybe I'll just go buy the real ink and swaps the chips when I get to that point. Something tells me the carts that come with the printer aren't filled too much! :)

They don't have them listed in the e-bay store... :( I have e-mailed them. Hopefully they will set me up...

Thanks.. Where can I get the used 220/221 tanks from? OR would I just be better off buying them from canon and swapping chips? I'm not completely opposed to that. Heck.. Maybe I'll buy two sets of the 220/221 and a second set of the 225/226. That may hold me off for 6mo to a year before I...

ok.. I think I found the e-bay store from a link buried in this forum. Strangely a general ebay search for precision colors provided no fruit! Maybe because I had to go to the CA ebay site?? But is that the one I use to buy from to get to the US? Or should I just contact them directly...

I assume you mean precisioncolors com?? The website is pretty busted! But it's expected to be up and running by May 2012!! :D I couldn't find their ebay store? Which brand of inks do they use? Or do they make their own? Thanks again so far! Jim

Even the newer opaque ones? Is it more because of size inconsistencies? Or ink leaking out? OR just the sponge differences drying up and causing a clog? Sorry... I'm in MA in the USA.. Interesting that I can't add a location or anything until 10 posts! Thanks! Jim

Is there a sticky somewhere or a webpage that list the main suppliers that people use? I just got a canon mg-5320 and will quickly switch over to a refillable non-oem cartridge and ink. Now I imagine the cartridge choice isn't as important as the ink choice. Short of scouring this forum post...
