Your advise solved the problem.
My T580B VLM cart seems to have a chip problem.
I managed to get the 3880 functioning again.
But I also ordered a new original VLM cart.

I have 2 printers:
- Epson Pro 3880, which is causing all kinds of problems, like the Pro 3800 which I had before.
Photo printing was excellent, but using this type of printer was a constant "pain"!
Due to all kinds of small and sometimes serious problems.
Relability was totally insufficient...

But the problem continues unchanged.
I purchased my first T5280 tank and the 2e tank from different official Epson suppliers.
Both T5280 maintenance tanks are in the same type box, and...

The old tank Is also no longer accepted.
As I wrote before when I noticed that the new tank was not accepted I purchased another new T5820 tank again.
But this wasn't accepted either!
I purchased the Pro 3880 after my Pro 3800 also did cause too many problems.
Although the 3880 is a fine...
The maintenance tank T5820 on Epson Pro 3880 was full.
I removed this tank and introduced a new tank.
But this tank is refused!
