your right on that disgo55, it could be the ink, if its clogged or to thick to handle, but he mentioned that it just stop working. I got the impression that the cartridge wasn't being read by the printer.
Hi Disgo55,
Its not the ink, its the head. There could be a problem with the contacts, I suggest contacting Canon so they can send you a free replacement.
Hi Billkiunert,
Try reinstalling the driver. Remember to uninstall and restart before you install it again. Problems like this usually occur with software (not the printer itself).
Hi Aman74
This one is quite tricky. the Samsun ML-2010 cartridge may or may not need a fuse. I've heard both storied, people needing the fuse, and others not needing anything at all. Refilling it is quite simple, since all you have to do is remove the cap located on the side of the...
Hi Rogert,
There are a few tricks you can use to restore the cartridge, however, some cartridges cannot be saved if they've been left out to long (the sponge inside could be damaged and useless).
Try these steps:
1. You'll need water, ammonia, and some 99% isopropyl alcohol.
2. Get a small...
Hello Ink-Teck,
Are you asking how to reset the counter? Or your having a problem with the printer recognizing the cartridge and getting an error?
On most printers that use remanufactured cartridges, you can't reset the counter. However, the printer will allow you to continue printing, but...
Hello There shoeman,
So your looking for a cheap printer, that you can get cheap ink for basically right? First off, refills arn't for everyone. You'll always hear to sides to it, one is messy, and the other is great. Plugin in a compatible cartridge is always easier, and with the cost of...
I may be wrong here, but I thought the Canon IP3000 only had 4 colors. Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta. The black catridge being at BCI-3eBK and the color cartridges BCI-6.

Hello Lamba,
My suggestion is to go with Remanufactured cartridges. Don't buy comptibles, some tend to not work the way theis suppose to by bypassing the ink status. You can't go wrong with remans (atleast not from my point of view). I suggest looking online for some cheap ones. They...
I'm sorry pharmacist, I didn't know the comaptible CLI-8 chips were being sold to the public, I know they've been on the market for wholesale remanufacturing for about 2 months now (with 1 month in testing). I feel embarrased, I thought when I read the begining of this post that we were talking...
Well first off, I don't know if the ip4500 has the same function as its brothers before it. Some of the new canon printers won't allow you to print after the cartridge has gone empty. You can buy remanufactured cartridges, but if you want to take the chances with refills, then I would say...
Hello Manny,
I wouldn't recomment buying off Ebay unless the compatible toner brand is a good brand. I would do some research before buying any toner off Ebay. I know a few sellers on ebay that sell American made compatible toner. I've heard alot of horror stories on imported toner (not to...
